The 52ASC follows on from our hugely popular first Aero Shaped Carbon extension (The 43ASC) with increased grip angle.
The front section (from the wrist fin forward) has been angled up by 9 degrees to give a 52 degree grip angle and comfortable wrist support.
Additionally the grip has been lengthened by 20mm to provide more comfort for users of SRAM Blips. The grip can be trimmed to suit.
The 52ASC will be a strong contender for the title of 'most comfortable aero extensions' at least for standard aerobar brackets.
The fit by the wrist area is designed to smooth airflow over the arm and to increase contact area which will provide some extra comfort and to give you more control over your bike. The shape was optimised using CFD to minimise drag without sacrificing strength.
]]>The RZ3 improves upon the previous generation's aero frame bottle design, not only does it comply with UCI regulations, but also offers an improved overall shape.
Compared to the RZ2 the RZ3 has a lower profile in order to make it a bit easier to install
RZ3 also optimizes the water bottle cage, allowing you to take out the water bottle better.
GTN got their hands on it for a first ride!
When designing these extensions we wanted to utilize carbon fibers' natural ability to be shaped into an aerodynamic form while still providing a good amount of strength and rigidity, hence ASC stands for Aero Shaped Carbon.
The Ergo is the core of our new family of fit and comfort focused armrests. It offers a smoothly curved shape designed to comfortably cup the elbows while providing good support and control. The bolt pattern yields 48 possible configurations just by moving the armrest. The Ergo is compatible with all current aerobars and earlier models that used the F-19, F-22, F-35 or F-40 armrests.

The Tri Stem also features the HSF faceplate for easy mounting of our compatible hydration systems.
With a 31.8mm bar clamp, this stem is compatible with any standard bar. And with 80mm and 105mm lengths available, you can customize your setup to fit your bike and riding style.
+ Routing for Top tube or headset cable entry
+ HSF faceplate for hydration mounting
+ Optional matched spacers
+ 31.8mm bar clamp to work with any standard bar
+ 80mm and 105mm lengths
When designing these extensions we wanted to utilize carbon fibers' natural ability to be shaped into an aerodynamic form while still providing a good amount of strength and rigidity, hence ASC stands for Aero Shaped Carbon.
Looking at the grip section, we have a 87mm rise from the base of the extension to the grip with the grip angle being set at 43 degrees.
The reason we went with a 43 degrees grip angle was to give a neutral wrist position which helps the rider to be in a more relaxed position and the key to speed is relaxation.
The fin by the wrist area is designed to smooth airflow over the arm and to increase contact area which will provide some extra comfort and to give you more control over your bike.
The 43ASC is intended to optimize the aerodynamics of your existing bars but pairs exceptionally well with either the Race+ or Ergo+ armrest. Giving you the ideal supportive position which again will help you be relaxed while riding and as we mentioned… the key to speed is relaxation.

The updated basebar shape is optimized for aerodynamics as well as strength and stiffness.
Turning the bar over changes the height of the hand grip and the aerobar by 20mm.
Pairing this versatile carbon basebar with the Ergo armrest creates a huge range of adjustment to aid in fine tuning the setup.
The SLC extensions offer the same range of ergonomic options as the previous generation but the weight is halved. This also allows Di2 parts to be fitted inside the extension.

With a time of 2 days 12 hours and 20 minutes, the strong 4-man Team Vorarlberg set a sign at the legendary Race Around Austra and sensationally finished with a new course record.
In consistently warm temperatures Maximilian Kuen, Daniel Ganahl, Nikolas Riegler and Swiss guest rider Peter Inauen started the toughest bike race in Europe last Thursday evening in St. Georgen im Attergau. The Race Around Austria demands everything from the riders as well as from the organization and helpers team. It is non-stop 2,200 kilometers along the border roads around Austria and conquer an incredible 30,000 meters of altitude.
New course record by Team Vorarlberg
The four highly motivated riders of Team Vorarlberg mastered the route excellently and also mastered the more difficult section with Großglockner, Kühtai, Bielerhöhe, Faschina and Hochtannberg. In the end it was enough for a new course record. With a time of 2 days 12 hours and 20 minutes the sensation is perfect. The four cracks from Team Vorarlberg have beaten the previous course record by 1 hour and 17 minutes.
Jürgen Schatzmann - team leader: "It was a very special challenge for everyone. Especially the logistics of such a race are enormous. It requires a meticulous organization in advance as well as a perfectly organized team of navigators, mechanics, physiotherapists and other helpers during the race. Without them, such a race would not be possible. Of course, the special conditions such as sleep deprivation, a non-stop operation over days and weather conditions are added. It was a brilliant experience with many challenges that were overcome together. That's why this course record is a special victory for everyone! "
Maximilian Kuen: "Everything went right all around and it was optimal conditions. A big thanks also goes to the support staff in the background, who looked after us perfectly all round. Only in this way has this course record become possible at all."
Nikolas Riegler: "At the beginning of the race we simply looked at the planned driver change technique and quickly got into a good mode. Everything just fit and was a lot of fun with the motivated colleagues."
Facts:
Driver Team Vorarlberg:

* Peter Inauen starts as guest rider for Team Vorarlberg
Start and finish location: St. Georgen am Attersee (Upper Austria)
Course length: 2,200 kilometers
Altitude difference: 30.000 meters
Number of attendants: 12 persons (3 vehicles)
Average speed: 35,94 km/h
New course record: 2 days - 12 hours - 20 minutes
The truncated aerofoil shape of the basebar is a key element of the balance between aerodynamics, strength and comfort.
The WING/20c is available in the following widths: 38, 40, 42cm
Ability to flip the bar makes it easier for riders to find a comfortable position by the brake levers.
Cable routing has been designed with flip feature and modern tri bikes in mind.
]]>The Neosonic/Ergo platform is designed to give riders the option to move the armrests well behind the basebar in order to adopt a compact position. This bar can be used for draft legal triathlon once shortened to meet the ITU rules.
There are 80 distinct position options achievable just by moving the armrests - this gives an unprecedented level of adjustment for a shorty aerobar.
The Neosonic/Ergo/45ra aerobar offers comprehensive yet simple adjustment, ideally suited to riders wishing to add aerobars to their road, gravel or packing bike. Pairing perfectly with the DRV/GMR Riser Gravel Bar
]]>Where most gravel bars flare the drops we’ve kept the upper part of the drops straight, with a significant flare in the lower part of the drops.
This is to allow the levers to be held in the way they were designed. Additionally we’ve added 9mm of rise on the tops and hoods (compared to our other DRV bars) to facilitate a higher position.
Of course, we have ensured that this bar is compatible with the majority of our range of clip on aerobars.

The HSF Aerodrink 880 follows in the footsteps of the Aerodrink with updated features. This Front-end hydration system easily mounts between aerobars so you don't have to deviate from the aero position to stay hydrated.
Additionally, the shape of the bottle has been designed to hide the included mounting bracket from the wind. We worked to minimize frontal area wherever possible to avoid adding aero drag to your setup.

+ Secure fill port lid to avoid splashing
Additionally, the shape of the bottle has been designed to hide the cage from the wind. We worked to minimize frontal area wherever possible to avoid adding aero drag to your setup.
The HSF/BTA CAGE takes a minimalist approach to providing the maximum versatility for a between the arms bottle mount. The low weight, high retention, setback mount point and integrated computer mount give everything you need and nothing you don’t.
The mount is offset so that the center point of the bottle bolts can sit well behind the attachment point. This allows the cage/bottle to be set further back on aerobars that would otherwise force the bottle forward to the point where it is inaccessible.
The mount has a slightly dropped ‘V’ shape to help center it between the extensions and reduce the risk of the bottle interfering with narrow armrest positions. The mount accommodates a greater range of extension widths than the previous models.
]]>The GMR Tubeless Rim-Brake wheel is optimized for wide tires with lower tire pressure to meet the performance needs of modern riders in search of low rolling resistance and high compliance. With an internal width of 19mm, this wheelset is well suited for rough roads and tests fastest with a 28mm tire in the majority of wind angles.
The tire bed structure built by auto-wrapping system which the tire bed stronger and more resilient to support the high PSI and Brake pressure.
Brake Performance
Specifically formulated to withstand the same heat our rims can take on, our brake pad compound is exclusive for GMR Series wheelsets. Using a specially formulated rubber compound, durometer and friction agent, we developed a proprietary brake pad and reduced braking distances over that of other carbon fiber wheelsets.

Michael Baker from Custom Bike Fit has a beautiful overview of the setup.

Daniel Geismayr (AUT):
“I try to keep fit despite everything and of course I do a lot of indoor. This is a bit easier with the new virtual options such as Zwift bike training on my Kinetic Roller. Stabilization, strength and role training are the order of the day. In addition to these units, I am currently paying more attention to my diet anyway to optimally care for the immune system. I cook a lot, bake healthy bread, etc. ... to strengthen the body. At the moment, I can also motivate myself quite well with new challenges so that I can be fit again when it starts again!"
Linus Stari (AUT):
"I start the day with a healthy breakfast, then I can usually be found on the exercise mat. After stretching exercises much more like I did the latest news in the media. In the afternoon I try to keep fit with units on the bike. Here I am deliberately careful and limit myself here to a minimum, especially when it comes to risk taking. In addition, I try to keep myself up-to-date with exercises (which are usually neglected), the fascia role and a healthy diet! "
Dominik Amann (AUT):
"In addition to my indoor and cycling training on my Argon18 Nitrogen Disc Bike, I am now also increasingly dedicating myself to my distance learning business informatics!"
Felix Meo (NZL) - lives and trains in Vorarlberg:
“I am very happy that I can live and train here in Vorarlberg. I normally live in Milano. In Italy it is currently very difficult as a professional cyclist with the restrictions. The team enables me, despite the special time, to be able to develop as an athlete. There is no better training region than Vorarlberg. Of course - I also do a lot of indoor activities and have a lot of time to think about life!”
Jack Burke (CAN) - lives and trains in Vorarlberg:
“Corona gave me the opportunity to focus only on the important things. Life is easier now. I appreciate the opportunities that arise. I am thankful that I can train and am hidden in a small farmhouse in the mountains. So we are isolated, have a fixed daily routine and appreciate nature here. Before I start racing again, I also concentrate on other things like writing and reading!”
“Quite a similar time to the preparation period in early November. Instead of racing, we had complete isolation in Tyrol. Lots of stability and strength exercises and of course training on my Kinetic Rooler. Recently we have been allowed to go back to nature and train outside. And honestly, everything has its good sides. You already think at breakfast what you can try at the dinner table. With my girlfriend I got the apartment and the garden in good shape. Until we start racing again, we will be covering many kilometers. The motivation will certainly not decrease if we let go of the lines!”
The entire Vorarlberg Santic Team and Profile Design wishes everyone a lot of staying power during this time - stay healthy!

]]>"FLYT is PD's nomenclature for its aerobar system, and nomenclature has not always been its strong suit. You're probably used to the "T" designation: T1 thru 4 (extension shapes) that are either made of aluminum or carbon…” said Dan. There's no doubt that bike fit can be a daunting task. Here at Profile Design we’ve been working over 30 years to not only simplify the process of fitting an aerobar to a rider, but to also expand the number of fit options possible to make sure every cyclist can be #fitforspeed! Through the analyzation of data accumulated since Profile Design was incorporated in 1988 the FLYT System was born. Using a simple combination of 3 brackets, 3 armrests and 3 extensions, FLYT gives fitters and riders 27 possible combinations to cover thousands of fit options.
